Based on the Lanny Frasier Middle School design, the new Dr. Don Woolley Middle School will serve up to 1,200 students in grades 6 through 8. The 193,000 SF school will include athletic features such as an 8-lane track, football field, tennis courts, practice fields, and space for future expansions.
The library, cafeteria, art classrooms, and classroom wings will provide views into the outdoor learning courtyard that is positioned at the heart of the school. The fine arts wing will include band, orchestra, and choir halls, as well as a drama classroom directly adjacent to the cafetorium.
Along the main corridor, the media center will be located across from the learning courtyard, with storefront window walls to provide transparency and natural light.
