21ST CENTURY LEARNING ELEMENTS
A new two-story, CHPS-designed, high performance elementary school using Geothermal Technology. Capacity 821 students, grades PreK-5. The Discovery Wall, a collage of images along the main corridor in Spanish and English, inspires creativity and get kids excited about learning. Outside the cafeteria, students and teachers enjoy the Learning Gardens. The geothermal system saves energy and improves the building’s appearance by eliminating roof-top HVAC units.
