A FAST-GROWING DISTRICT'S SECOND HIGH SCHOOL
North Forney High School was the District's second high school. Designed as two separate buildings with connecting side bridges and a central Courtyard. The Academic Building reflects the traditional 1922 architecture of Forney's original high school. Across the courtyard, the more contemporary Activity Building houses performing arts, auditorium, and athletics. The cafeteria between athletics and the auditorium provides overflow lobby space for large functions in the Courtyard and provides a large prefunction gathering space adjacent to the auditorium. North Forney High School is the largest project WRA has designed for Forney ISD. Over more than a decade, WRA has completed over 30 projects for Forney ISD, totaling $250,000,000.

"WRA's responsiveness and service is without a doubt top quality. With our ever increasing student enrollment and housing developments, Forney ISD was building and opening a new school every year for several years in a row. WRA always met the challenge, stayed within the budget for each campus, and delivered quality Construction Documents, with few—if any—change orders."
