This project provides the students of Ozona High School with a new academic building containing classrooms, collaboration areas, fine arts spaces, science labs, and CTE labs. The new academic building envelops a renovated auditorium space. A central student commons functions as the hub of the school during the school day and during special events.
A gymnasium addition to the north side of the existing Davidson Gymnasium provides the community with a secondary gymnasium for practices and tournaments. The addition also houses new boys’ and girls’ Varsity locker rooms, a training room, and a laundry room.
A new shop building houses the vocational agricultural programs. This building has a metal shop with a paint booth, wood shop, 2 classrooms, and offices for instructors.
Finally, the building that originally housed the band program and wood shop was renovated to house the district administration offices and a new board room for school board meetings and staff development meetings.
