2015 DISD Bond Program
PHASE 1
Major addition/renovation to a 50-year old Dallas high school serving 2,300 students in grades 9-12. The project includes a 30-classroom addition plus many renovations and upgrades: new energy efficient replacement windows throughout, additional visitor parking, security lighting, and improved accessibility.
PHASE 2
The second phase consists of updating all 1960's classroom ceiling/lightings, new corridor finishes, fully renovating the existing locker room areas, auditorium renovation, front admin area security vestibule and glass enclosure. Additional renovations include ROTC, drama classrooms, weight room renovation, art room expansions and renovations. There will be a competition gymnasium addition and a fine arts addition. The fine arts wing will be constructed as a large storm shelter for the entire 2500 student campus. The major fine arts wing spaces will include band, orchestra, choir, dance, and JROTC.
