ON-SITE REPLACEMENT OF LARGE URBAN SCHOOL
A new replacement school on the same site as the old building constructed with school in session. Part of the new building included some renovation of existing spaces. This large site originally held two elementary schools with combined enrollments of 1,400 students. After constructing a new replacement school across town, the remaining site was redeveloped and thoroughly modernized. The new school includes gymnasium, cafetorium, media center/library, multi-purpose room, new entrance and office, 2 Computer Labs and 46 regular classrooms.
