Plano East High School New Addition Opens
WRA Architects welcomes the students, teachers, administrators, and parents to the all new 32,500-SF, two-story, 21-classroom addition to Plano East Senior High School. Project includes a 120-person meeting room; a 6,300 SF storm shelter; a new sprung wood floor in the Dance Studio in the Fine Arts Building.
The two-story building has a generous amount of glass inside classrooms providing students with a peaceful view of the pond, as well as its surroundings. Small collaborative spaces are placed periodically throughout the halls with relaxing décor and comfortable seating. These spaces will give students the ability to work alone, in small groups, or spend time working individually with teachers.
