North Forney High School Auditorium
Forney, TX
Summer 2009
North Forney High School was the District's second high school. Designed as two separate buildings with connecting side bridges and a central Courtyard. The Academic Building reflects the traditional 1922 architecture of Forney's original high school. Across the courtyard, the more contemporary Activity Building houses performing arts, auditorium, and athletics. The cafeteria between athletics and the auditorium provides overflow lobby space for large functions in the Courtyard and provides a large prefunction gathering space adjacent to the auditorium.
