Blue Ridge Intermediate School
Blue Ridge, Texas
Blue Ridge Intermediate School is a new 75,000-SF campus designed for 450 students, featuring 20 classrooms, two science labs, two SPED classrooms, a media center, a fine arts room, and athletic spaces. A storm shelter is integrated for full-occupancy protection. The design uses the site’s natural topography to create a sheltered outdoor play area and incorporates key openings that frame views and connect the building to its landscape. A pod-style academic layout promotes collaboration while also distinguishing each grade level, and secure outdoor areas offer easy access to exterior learning and play spaces.
