Melissa ISD’s newest elementary school marks the district’s fifth elementary campus built to support the growing region. Highland Elementary School honors the 19th-century Highland community native to Melissa and spans more than 86,000 SF. Serving grades pre-K through fifth grade, the facility features a large media center, cafetorium, gym, and outdoor play areas.
