A.V. Cato Elementary School
Fort Worth, TX
August 2012
Built in 1950, this 60-year old school’s original campus had outlived its useful life, and repairs and upgrades were no longer the most economical solution for continuing the building’s effective use. The new replacement school shown here was constructed on a new site across town to more equitably serve the community. The building includes a cafetorium, gym, clinic, media center/library, multi-purpose room, 38 regular classrooms, plus Music, Art, Special Ed, and Computer Labs.
