With the continuous growth of Mesquite ISD, a new 9th grade academic addition will be added to Dr. John D. Horn High School and open in the summer of 2024. The program will include collaboration spaces, administration suites, and core subject classrooms. This two-story, 88,500 SF addition will connect to the existing campus at each level. The facility is being designed to respect the material and language of the existing campus. The program will also include a new storm shelter programmed as a practice gym and cafeteria.
