Brentfield Elementary School

An addition to Brentfield Elementary School will connect the East and West buildings on the campus. Renovations within both buildings will add and optimize school functions.

Additions include a cafeteria, kitchen, gymnasium, and administration suite to accompany the addition of five classrooms. The existing buildings will be renovated to create grade-level pods that contain six classroom spaces, each centered around a collaboration area. Other aspects of the renovation include a special education classroom cluster with an adjacent building entrance, a set of music classrooms, and a library.

The building will utilize sustainability features that focus on reducing energy consumption, minimizing long-term environmental impact, and daylighting where possible to provide natural light throughout the building. The scope of construction will also include the addition of a storm shelter for the entire campus, a fire suppression sprinkler system, and updated LED lighting throughout all spaces on the campus.
