Expanding Access to Education
Serving grades 9-12, the building has extensive amounts of natural light to brighten lobbies, corridors and public spaces. The school's capacity is 500 students initially, with a core capacity of 900. Includes 15 standard classrooms, 5 science labs, 2 general computer labs and a library with its own computer and distance learning labs, a 1000-seat competition gymnasium, locker rooms, multi-purpose weight/dance studio, a 10,000 square foot field house, baseball and softball stadiums, and tennis courts, in addition to the existing football stadium. Specialized suites house instruction in family and consumer science, health occupations, veterinary technology, business/technology, and special education. Fine arts includes band and choir rehearsal halls, black box theater, and art classroom. The cafetorium has three food service lines for student dining in an auditorium shape with stepped floor for performances.
