Austin Richards Earns Top Spot at the 20 under 40 A4LE Southern Region Summit

We are pleased to announce that Austin Richards has been nominated to attend the A4LE Southern Region 20 Under 40 Summit in Irving, Texas on April 19. The 20 Under 40 list recognizes top 20 members from Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Texas who are dedicated to helping improve the educational environment.

Austin has been involved with A4LE since 2018 and has served as treasurer and president elect and was recently awarded the A4LE Southern Region Service Citation Award in 2023. From 2019 to 2020, he also earned several top honors with the AIA Eastern Oklahoma chapter for his volunteer and leadership efforts.

Last year, he was instrumental in the development of an architecture club at Rhodes Elementary in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma where, once a week, 20 4th and 5th grade students learn about architecture and interior design exclusively from the WRA design team.  

Austin graduated from the NewSchool of Architecture and Design and served 4 years in the Marines. After that, he worked for two other firms before joining WRA in 2021. He brings over seven years of architecture experience and is currently leading construction administration efforts on several projects for Caddo Mill ISD.
